  3.     Configure (all) / Configure (local)
  4.  
  5.     These two programs pop-up a window displaying all the currently
  6.     configured printers, as shown below.
  7.  
  8.     The "Configure (local)" option is similar to the "Configure (all)"
  9.     selection, except only local printer destinations are reported.
  10.     Network printers are not displayed in the Configure (local) option.
  11.     This can be useful to gain a better overview of printer resources.

  13.     From the Configure Printers window, you have the option to:

  15.     + Add - Add a printer
  16.     + Delete - Delete a printer
  17.     + Enable - Enable a printer
  18.     + Disable - Disable a printer
  19.     + Jobs - View and modify print jobs

  23.     In Enlighten, you can define a printer as a print server or a print
  24.     client. Altogether, there are three options for configuring a
  25.     printer when you click on the Add button: as a Print Client, a Local
  26.     Print Server, or a Network Print Server.

  28.     Each of these windows contain buttons and fields which are common to
  29.     both print client and print server configurations.

  31.     Delete
  32.  
  33.     This button will delete a printer from the system. From the
  34.     Configure Printers window, highlight the printers to be deleted from
  35.     the system. Enlighten will prompt you to confirm your choice, to
  36.     ensure the selection was correct.

  38.     Note: Enlighten cannot delete a printer configuration if there are
  39.     pending print requests. Use the `Printer --> Queue' menu item to
  40.     cancel all pending print requests on the printer you wish to delete.

  42.     Enable

  44.     This button will enable a printer which is disabled. The Enable
  45.     command is similar to physically turning the printer on; it tells
  46.     the print queue administrator daemon that the printer is now
  47.     available for printing. Any print jobs which might have been waiting
  48.     in that print queue will now begin to print.

  50.     Disable
  51.  
  52.     This button will stop the highlighted printers from receiving print
  53.     requests from the spooler. Any job which is currently printing will
  54.     be added back to the print queue to be reprinted once the printer is
  55.     enabled. This command does not stop users from sending print jobs to
  56.     the disabled printer; those print requests will be added to the
  57.     print queue.

  61.     This button will display all print jobs currently printing or
  62.     waiting to be printed for the highlighted printer destinations. A
  63.     pop-up window will notify you if there are no jobs. If there are
  64.     print jobs, the Printer Queue window will appear.
